As an Island Batik Brand Ambassador, I receive fabrics and sewing notions from Island Batik and their corporate sponsors (Oliso, Schmetz, Aurifil, Deb Tucker's Studio 180 Designs, Hobbs Batting, Accu-Quilt, Funky Friends Factory, By-Annie Patterns and Lumin Fabrics.)

July brought very hot weather and three Lumin Fabrics (Island Batik) boxes to New York. I want to start by thanking the sponsors Aurifil, Hobbs Batting, By-Annie, Schmetz and Oliso.

Let's begin with FOSSIL FINESSE designed by Kathy Engle. This is one gorgeous collection. It will be used for the September blog hop. There are also four spools of Aurifil 50 weight thread: 2540 Medium Lavender; 2860 Light Emerald; 4662 Creme de Menthe and 4654 Turquoise Foam. Two fabrics, Buff and Jasper - Purple Foxglove were included in the box to use with this collection.

Next up, half-yard cuts of Foundations Blenders, Solids and Basics.

Solids: Red, Cobalt and Turquoise.

Blenders and Basics: Flourite, Foulard - Waterfall, Marble - Frog, Dandelion - Jelly, Pepples - Coffee. Bermuda, Aqua and Sand.

Be still my heart; my go-to black, white and gray solids. These solid batiks are truly such high quality and I love using them.

Another favorite of mine, is SPRINKLES.

ree

How about Geode Glow Strip Pack of 2-1/2" strips? This is one ELEGANT collection. Two yards of Champagne and Boysenberry round out this beautiful collection.

Oh my, what is a quilter to do with all of this absolutely gorgeous and beautiful fabric? MAKE, SEW and MAKE!

Let's check out Starry Seas.

ree

Navy, golds, gray blues, rust oranges......and two yards of Midnight Blue and Amoebic Shapes - Orange.

ree

Naturally Neutral 2-1/2" strip pack and Glorious Green 10" Stack. It's definately helpful to have a range of neutrals and greens to choose from in your stash! Check out the Stash Builders. I love these 5" strips, they are so versatile.

ree

Still a bit more to show you!

ree

An assortment of quality batting from Hobbs.

October is By-Annie month for the ambassadors. I decided to go big this year and I chose the Ultimate Travel Bag 2.0. Oh boy! I received all of the supplies to make this useful and beautiful travel bag.

ree

These are the fabrics that I chose to work with: Squiggle - Purple Blurple; Crosshatched - Orange and Burst - Pink Bubblegum.

Finally, the surprise. It's a secret. Shhh.... this bundle will be used for the November blog hop.

I hope you enjoyed seeing the beautiful batiks and accessories that I received from Lumin Fabrics, Island Batik and sponsors. The fabrics are truly beautiful and I am very lucky to be able to work with them.
